Interstate Specimen Booklet

For my type booklet, I chose to use the Interstate typeface. This typeface was very fitting for the topic I chose, which is about the architecture in Wakanda from the famous movie Black Panther. The Interstate typeface was designed as homage to Highway Gothic, which is used on highway signs. With my design choices and color palette, I wanted the booklet to have a modern architectual aesthetic. My favorite characteristic of this typface is the ascender used on the lowercase letters. I made sure to create a page highlighting this, while also tying it back to architecture.
