Barnes & Noble
20 years of partnership with Barclays
Barclays wanted a celebratory moment on their 745 screen, for when their Barnes & Noble partners arrive to their office in New York. Within a tight timeline of less than 2 weeks, our team got work, not letting the lack of time hinder our imagination and ambitions.
The idea was to turn this unique screen, which takes up multiple floors of the building, into a Barnes & Noble store. We started with literal approach at first, but ended up in this fun style that plays with the size of the books being larger than life, as we see the people indulging in the beautiful world of books.
We presented 3 concepts, ranging from standard guidelines, to our most ambitious described above. The clients were just as excited as we were to see our favorite concept come to life. They were so excited to see the clever use of this unique screen, in a way that hadn’t been done before. The success of this placement drove 5+ more 745 projects, and counting.
